Hope for Today and Bright Hope for Tomorrow

We, Abraham’s seed have been blessed in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Now that is great news filled to overflowing with fresh hope for today and bright hope for tomorrow. Wouldn’t you agree?  God’s will was, and is, and will always be for heaven’s plentiful realities and riches to be made manifest here on earth.  This is our inheritance.

While being reminded of this great and precious promise can ignite hope to arise from within, in the midst of our recent tragedies and challenges, I realize that our focus can at times become overshadowed with despair; muddying up our perspective, thus causing the wells of hope within us to become blurred, dark, and murky.

Life if filled with the drama of many unavoidable twists and turns. The key to finding victory in their midst is finding God smack dab in their epicenter.  As we do by turning our gaze upon Him, we are ushered back into His atmosphere of peace and rest. Fears and doubts are replaced with quiet confidence and renewed trust.

Spending time renewing our minds through delving back into the living water of His Word can also refreshes us with the reminder that there is a silver lining in every gray cloud where faith is reactivated and we are rejuvenated with fresh hope. The eyes of our spirit become enlightened once more, prompting us to pass through those heavenly gates and breathe kingdom air pregnant with promise.

When this occurs the dynamic outpouring of God’s loving nature begins to gracefully flow again. Strength arises empowering us as carriers and conduits of the banner of hope found in His riches. We are able to move forward confidently again in dominion, authority and power proclaiming the year of the Lord’s favor among the nations.

Today is the day to let hope arise as Nehemiah said to the Israelites, Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

Remember when all else fails and there is no outward reason to hope-choose hope anyway. As I once heard someone say, I believe in love even when I am alone.  I believe in God even when He is silent.  Got Jesus?  If the answer is yes, you got hope.

According to  Emil Brunner, What oxygen is to the lungs-such is hope to the meaning of life.  As you choose to nurture your love relationship with Jesus, reservoirs of hope will be replenished, because Jesus is the hope of the nations. He longs to speak and manifest Himself both to our hearts and through our lives heralding His message of a hope that will not disappoint- an everlasting hope for today and bright hope for tomorrow!
