A Royal Wedding

Today is that very special day of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Royal wedding.  All final preparations have been made.  All invited guests have arrived.  Westminister Abbey is filled with a spirit of anticipation regarding  this holy union.  The groom, Prince William arrives escorted by His brother, Prince Harry.  The beautiful bride, soon to be Princess Catherine arrives escorted by her beloved father.  She is beautiful and adorned with veil and train in perfect place.

Privileged to watch this televised ceremony was such a joy.  Tears flowed from my eyes in remembrance of Princess Dianna, as I watched her handsome, grown, first-born son wed the love of his life. What a treasured moment in history.  This reminded me that we also have received a proposal and invitation to our own Royal wedding one day.  We, the Church, without spot or wrinkle, will become the Bride to our Handsome Groom, Prince Jesus.

Watching this wedding brought a renewed spirit of anticipation to my heart for that incredible day that awaits.  It too will be glorious.  Everything will be in place and perfect. It will be the best day of my life.  The best is still yet to come, and knowing this, helps me to walk out the remainder of my days here on earth in HOPE; even in the midst of day-to-day challenges and the heartache that surrounds.  We are promised a HOPE on that day that will not disappoint~ and for that I am eternally grateful.

Until that day I will choose to rejoice with those who rejoice, and grieve with those who grieve, but also dream with those who dream……………knowing that one day all my dreams will come true when I see Him face to face.  The pleasure I will see in His eyes for me and the touch of His all-encompassing embrace, I know will  melt my heart so completely that all that will be left is heavenly bliss.

Congratulations Prince William and Princess  Catherine, and May All Your Dreams Come True!
