Everything is Going to be Alright

When the precious life of one of our loved ones moves on to eternity; often time they leave us something to either remember them by, or some kind of inheritance.  When Jesus left this earth, He so graciously gave us all spiritual blessings according to Ephesians 1:3.  We each received a rich and abundant inheritance from Him, and when we choose to embrace and walk in our inheritance~ we are blessed!

One of the gifts He gave I treasure the most is His peace.  He gives it not as the world gives, but as only He can give.  It is not dependent on circumstances, finances, relationships, health, etc., but supersedes all earthly concerns, because it’s eternal and spiritual in nature.  When born-again, it is imparted to us, and daily as we choose to embrace, receive, and walk in it, PEACE invades us from the inside out.  Below is a journal entry I’d like to share with you that I wrote to thank the Lord from His gift of peace:

You Lord, are truly my Prince of Peace. I did not know peace until I knew You~really knew You intimately~ in my inmost being.  You gave me the gift of peace~ a feeling that I was truly safe and protected; a knowing that all was well within my soul.

I am so thankful for Your peace~ it is like a river running through me soothing and comforting, while at the same time washing all my worries and fears away. As a fisherman casts his pole into the river to catch a big fish, I cast my cares in the river of Your peace and catch the flowing stillness You exchange for my concerns.  My eyes are stayed on Thee, and as they are, I have perfect peace~perfect rest~ a sweet spot to snuggle into Your arms of love, and assurance knowing that everything is going to be alright.
