Replanted in Eden

In Psalms 1, I loved Eugene Peterson’s rendition of verse 3 in The Message that says, I am like a tree, replanted in Eden, never dropping a leaf, always in blossom. In contrast James 1: 11 says, The sun will rise over the rich man in scorching heat and wither the plant (his life) even as he goes about his business.  Not true any longer with me!  As a local church billboard also reminds me, Love is a journey that lasts forever and ends never!

Thank you Lord that life has changed forever for me as I once knew it .  Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on Your altar and watch for Your fire to descend.  I have more than enough because You have not only put my life back together, but continuously supply me with one blessing after another.  I am replanted in Eden.  Rich fruitfulness has become my everlasting portion. I, myself and others taste, enjoy, and see that You are good!

Because of all this and so much more,

I worship You in  adoring praise

and celebrate You in trembling awe.

 I kiss You, Messiah!
